For nearly 40 years, Vanis Salon has provided service second to none to its clients throughout Northwest Indiana. We inspire passion in our team, resulting in a quality of work like no other. Vanis Salon operates three locations—in Schererville, Crown Point and Valparaiso. Offering spa treatments, massages, hair care, nail care, facial treatments, make-up, waxing, and lash services, we’ve been named Best Hair Salon and Best Day Spa in the region many times over the years.

Prepare for Your Visit

Our caring staff is dedicated to making your visit enjoyable.

Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time to change if necessary and take advantage of a consultation from your service provider.

We ask that only those receiving services are permitted in the service areas.

As we do not have the facilities to accommodate children, it is suggested that prior arrangements are made.

We suggest that you change into a robe prior to a chemical service to protect your clothing.

For all facials and massages you will be asked to change into a provided robe.

To create a tranquil environment and as a courtesy to our guests, we ask that all mobile devices be turned off during your visit.

Because each client has individual needs, all service times are approximate.

CANCELED/MISSED APPOINTMENT POLICY

We understand that life happens, and appointments sometimes must be canceled. Canceled and missed appointments leave gaps in our service providers’ schedules that can’t be filled without sufficient notice and we can’t accommodate other clients waiting for appointments. It’s become necessary to change our appointment policy to best serve our clients and our team. Effective Dec. 12, 2022:

If you cancel/reschedule on the day of your appointment, you’ll be charged the price of scheduled service not to exceed $75 You will also be required to provide a credit card in order to schedule future appointments.

If you do not show up for your appointment, you’ll be charged the price of scheduled service not to exceed $150. You will also be required to provide a credit card in order to schedule future appointments.

As a courtesy, we send a confirmation text or email prior to your scheduled appointment. However, if we are unable to reach you, it’s still your responsibility to remember your scheduled appointment.

IGUEST POLICY

We welcome families and children, but because of the many dangers present such as sharp implements, hot wax, hot tools, and chemical products—

Children are ONLY permitted in the service area in order to receive services.

We kindly ask you to make child care arrangements prior to your visit. If you bring a child to the salon during your appointment, the service will need to be rescheduled to a time when the child is not accompanying you.

Friends and family must remain in the reception area while they are NOT receiving services.

We appreciate your support and understanding of our policies. Creating a safe, professional, and relaxing experience for all of our clients is very important to us!

PERSONAL POSSESSIONS

We cannot be responsible for the loss or damage to personal articles, including clothing and accessories. We ask you to remove all jewelry before any spa treatment. It would be best to leave your jewelry at home.

AFTER YOUR SERVICE

Don’t forget to schedule your next appointment so that you reserve the date and time most convenient for you.

GIFT CARDS

An ideal gift year-round, for any special occasion. We offer a variety of different services. Gift Cards may be purchased and used at any of our locations.

Service Prices are subject to change. Variation in price may be discussed with your service provider, during your consultation, prior to service.

Gratuity can not be paid by credit card or gift card.

Gift card balances will be reduced by $2.50 per month after 1 year of inactivity and/or allowed by Indiana law.
